A leading city in urban planning and mass transit, Portland affords its visitors no shortage of ways to explore the town:

MAX Light Rail
MAX runs from the airport to downtown with a stop several blocks from all of our hotels. Find schedules and maps here.

Portland Streetcar
The streetcar runs primarily through downtown neighborhoods. There is a stop several blocks from the hotels as well as a stop right next to Bridgeport Brewery where the rehearsal dinner will be held. Find schedules and maps here.

Rental Cars
The Portland Aiport (PDX) has information about on-site rental companies.

Portland Aerial Tram
No, we're not in the Swiss Alps but yes we do have an aerial tram... one of only two in North America used for mass transit. The route is fairly inflexible: you can go to the top or the bottom :)
Regardless, if you have some free time we definitely suggest checking it out for some great views of the city. Find more info here.

So you want to be a real Portlander?
If you want to blend in with the locals you may be best served by walking or biking. Portland has no shortage of routes for both types of travelers. If you really want to blend in, you may also want to get a tattoo.

We've created a map with all the locations you'll need to know for the wedding.
We've also included some fun spots around the city to check out when you're here.
