Jimmy Chavez Best Man
Born and raised in the city they call Long Beach, Jimmy holds SoCal close to his heart. After living down the hall from each other in their freshman dorm, he and Colin continued to live together all four years of college. After graduation they got an apartment with their buddy Rob in Menlo Park, California (aka The Willow Manure). It was here where Emily lived with them for what she probably remembers as the worst month of her life. When Jimmy's not starting up his own microfinance company, consulting with Silicon Valley insiders, tidying up his investment portfolio, or jet setting between LA, San Francisco, Germany and the U.A.E... you can probably find him sitting at home on his laptop, in his boxers, watching YouTube videos. He and Colin participate in instant message rap battles daily.

Kaitlin Jernstedt Maid of Honor
Emily and Kaitlin have known each other since birth. As kids they lived down the street from each other and were generally inseparable. Even at a young age, Kaitlin provided the perfect balance to Emily... bringing a little disorder and unpredictability to the table (something Colin now provides). They both reconnected down in California and lived together for a year in San Francisco, a year that Emily cherishes greatly. "Incredibly sweet" and "thoughtful" would definitely be ways to describe Kaitlin. "Good driver" would not be. If you see her dented Volvo speeding your way, look for an escape route fast.

Kea Gilbert
Kea undoubtedly has the highest personality to mass ratio of anyone you'll ever meet. Quite frankly, she has the personality of someone triple her size. She and Emily met their sophomore year in Human Biology class. Their shared interests have propelled them down similar paths and both are in medical school today, unfortunately on opposite coasts. Like true friends, whenever they talk at least one of their phones dies. Kea loves travelling and adventure... and we hope that her adventurous travels will one day lead her to Portland! She is allergic to everything but never lets that dissuade her. She is currently considering a hairless cat. Seriously.

Tyler Carter
This much is true: you will never be able to keep your air force ones as white as this man. Besides having an awesome shoe collection, and a killer sense of style, Emily's brother Tyler is one of the mellowest guys you’ll meet and is impossible not to get along with. Ty is a computer engineer with business aspirations and currently works at Lockheed Martin on a high speed satellite data network for the US Military... think DirectTV but instead of sitcoms and movies, hunting down terrorists. In his free time Ty plays basketball and works on his golf game (although it doesn't need much work... he's an 8 handicap). Considering the shoe collection, and the black on black 5-speed Audi that he drives, there was no way that he and Colin could ever not get along.

Connelly Murphy & James Linden
Damn Regina! Connelly & James are Colin's sister and brother-in-law. They call San Francisco home, where Colin and Emily have shared tons of memories with them... whether being outdoors, travelling, eating Alice's, drinking some scotchie-scotch, playing triominoes or simply hanging out. Connelly is a marriage and family therapist, most of her education coming not from school but from years of onsite training in the Murphy household. James is a search engine marketer which means he fully expects you to ask him, every time you see him, what exactly it is he does again ("you put those links on Google, right?").

Ana Murphy
Colin's younger half-sister Ana is destined for big things. Look at the picture. With hair like that it's impossible that she won't succeed at whatever she does. At seven years old she pretty much has the flower girl arena locked down and already has one gig under her belt. We had to contact her agent just to guarantee that she was available on the date we wanted. Outside of school she has a packed schedule and enjoys spending time with friends, her two dogs and playing basketball.

Cooper
Although he's only two, Cooper is wise beyond his years. He loves to show off and is always eager to sit, sit up, lie down, crawl, stand, spin, stretch, wait, take it, leave it, drop it, get on, get off, get in or even go away... He loves his parents, his sister Callie, his Uncle Joe, his rope toy, his monkey, his rhino, sticks, going to the dog park, going to the office, going to the beach, riding in the car with the windows down and, more than anything, dinner.
